Membership Terms & Conditions
In order to proceed, you must agree with the following rules:
1. SEAL Fitness Membership Registration
1.1 You can browse the Seal Fitness website without registering for membership. To have further access to the website site you will need to be a registered member. We reserve the right to cancel your membership at any time at our absolute discretion.
1.2 To be able to register you must:
1.2.1 be 18 years or over; and
1.2.2 have a valid payment method
1.3 You may terminate your membership at any time but you will not be entitled to any refund of any memberships fees paid.
2. The Service
2.1 SEAL Fitness Memberships are an online service that provides members with access to exercise videos streamed over the internet (often recorded live and made available).
2.2 Availability and quality of the streamed online classes may vary from computer to computer and may be affected by available bandwidth and speed of internet connection. We give no warranties for the quality of your watching experience.
2.3 We reserve the right to make changes from time to time and without notice to the way in which we operate the service.
3. Billing
3.1 Membership to SEAL Fitness is available via the registration process for a monthly fee (dependent on the level required).
3.2. Cancel anytime. You may terminate your membership at any time but you will not be entitled to any refund of any memberships fees paid.
3.3 By successfully entering your card details on this site you agree to the terms and conditions. The charge will be made to the payment method you selected in your registration. Payments are non-refundable.
3.4 The subscription fee will be paid in advance on the calendar day corresponding to the commencement of your membership.
3.5 You may access your account details at any time by contacting webadmin@sealfitness.co.uk. SEAL Fitness does not store card details, however, you are entitled to be removed from the system upon request.
3.6 Payments made for membership to the SEAL Fitness website will be fulfilled by Stripe Gateway. SEAL Fitness does not hold any card details.
4. Cancellation
4.1 You can cancel your membership at any time and no further payments will be taken.
4.2 To cancel your membership, simply do so from within the member area. However, you may still cancel at any time and have your details removed from the system.
5. Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire (PAR-Q)
5.1 You acknowledge and agree that you are responsible for your own health and safety at all times, and that you have been assessed by a medical expert (e.g. your GP/Doctor) who has given you consent to partake in physical activity.
8.2 You acknowledge and agree that you are responsible for continuously updating your medical consent through regular assessment in the form of a fitness appraisal by a medical expert (independent and unrelated to SEAL Fitness), in particular when choosing a new workout video or exercise programme to follow.
5.3 You acknowledge and agree that sealfitness.co.uk and the instructions provided (via written, audio and/or visual) are for general guidance purposes only and should not replace or super-exceed the advice given to you by your own medical expert (e.g. your GP/Doctor). Should you choose to ignore medical advice, you do so at your own risk and sealfitness.co.uk (and instructors) shall hold no liability for damage and/or injury caused.
5.4 If you are planning to become much more physically active than you are now, you agree that points 5.4.1 to 5.4.7 are correct. If you disagree with any point, it is insisted that you seek medical consent before partaking in any physical activity and you agree to do so. If you are between the ages of 15 and 69, the PAR-Q points will tell you if you should check with your doctor before you start. sealfitness.co.uk is not recommended for people under 18 years of age without the supervision of a parent or guardian, who hold sole responsibility and liability and agree to conform to the same mandatory guidance in ensuring physical readiness to partake. If you are over 69 years of age, check with your doctor regardless. Common sense is your best guide when you answer in relation to yourself these points. Please read the following points carefully and answer each one honestly:
5.4.1 Your doctor has never said that you have a heart condition and has never said that you should only do physical activity recommended by a doctor.
5.4.2 You have never felt pain in your chest when you have partaken in physical activity.
5.4.3 In the past month, you have not had chest pain at any time.
5.4.4 You have not lost your balance because of dizziness and you have never lost consciousness.
5.4.5 You do not have a bone or joint problem that could be made worse by a change in your physical activity.
5.4.6 Your doctor is not currently prescribing drugs (for example, water pills) for your blood pressure or heart condition.
5.4.7 You know of no reason why you should not do physical activity.
5.5 As a precaution, regardless of your agreement to points 5.5.1 to 5.4.7, but especially if you disagree, you agree to talk to your doctor by phone or in-person BEFORE you start becoming much more physically active. You agree to tell your doctor about this PAR-Q and the points you disagreed with. You may be able to do any activity you want – as long as you start slowly and build up gradually. Or, you may need to restrict your activities to those which are safe for you. You agree to talk with your doctor about the kinds of activities you wish to participate in and follow his/her advice.
6. Privacy Policy
6.1 You agree to allow sealfitness.co.uk to send you direct emails in the form of tips, advice and special offers including information.
6.2 You may unsubscribe from any communication at any time.
6.3 In accordance with European General Data Protection Legislation (“GDPR”) and local applicable laws, this Privacy Policy provides you information on how Seal Fitness collects, uses, protects, keeps, shares and deletes.
